A Bit About Me

My Story

From the age of 10, my love for music began, influenced by my mum and brother. I started learning drums at that age, inspired by my brother’s playing drums and my own love for rock and punk bands like Green Day and Guns N’ Roses. This passion evolved as I discovered AC/DC, which inspired me to pick up the guitar. From there, I got into heavier music like Slipknot and Thy Art Is Murder, which led me to start a band with a few friends, although it never fully took off due to COVID.

After leaving the band, I attended dBs in Plymouth, where I discovered beat-making, inspired by Dizzee Rascal’s debut album 'Boy in da Corner', a record that still stands as my all time favourite. Following my time at dBs, I moved to Bristol to pursue an Electronic Music course at dBs Bristol, an experience I highly recommend to anyone interested in music studies.

Halfway through my first year of university, I began to take mixing and mastering seriously, realising that my true passion lay in audio engineering rather than beat-making. This shift in focus inspired me to pursue a career as an audio engineer, where I could dedicate myself to perfecting sound quality and bringing out the best in every track.

In 2023, after my first year of uni, my friend Acacia Martin founded 'rKade Records', where I still work, focusing on band related music.

In 2025, I founded Shell Season to give grime a dedicated platform in Bristol. After seeing the amount of talent in the city, it was clear the scene needed a space to be properly showcased. Shell Season was created as a series where MCs freestyle over a track, accompanied by a music video filmed in the studio to capture a raw, authentic freestyle energy.
Alongside this, I added cyphers one of my favourite elements of grime, because they allow you to experience the energy of the culture in person.

Freestyles were also essential to the vision, inspired by the early days of grime, when crews would gather, play a beat, and freestyle together outside, keeping the sound raw and energetic.
